29-0741 Thermal Collimator A
specialized collimator used to calibrate infrared/night vision fire control systems. The
collimator contains a reticle which can be seen by the thermal sensor of the device being
calibrated. The design allows aligning in lighted or unlighted conditions. Variations can
be provided. |

29-8050A Machine Gun Alignment Boresight Similar to the system used in the boresight model 29-8050A, however
this unit is used to align the 7.62 machine gun systems only. The boresight bracket
replaces the machine gun for calibration of the system using the same mounting studs as
the machine gun to obtain proper alignment. |
|
|
29-8000 Boresight Telescope Mounted in an adjusting block, this boresight telescope can be used
in a number of boresighting and table/plane applications. It can be used in the
7.72mm and 50 caliber machine gun alignment bracket, as well as in various sizes of other
brackets and fixtures custom designed for your optical tooling application. |
|
|
29-9135F Boresight Fixtures These fixtures were designed to hold the boresight model 29-9135 and provide
a method to align a long platform or any surface which requires a precise alignment of
preset points at increments along its entire length.
29-9135S Boresight
This telescope is held generally by a bracket or v blocks. This
telescope screws onto and sights through cross wires fitted into the fixture openings. |
|
|
"Breech" Boresights These loading boresights are used to align 90mm, 105mm, 120mm gun tubes
without removal of any of the gun components for proper alignment. This design is
also used in many commercial applications, such as tube, internal bushing, critical rod
and shaft positioning. |

Warren-Knight Jig Transits Jig Transits are specifically designed to produce the highest accuracy in
optical tooling and alignment. The Transit can establish precise vertical planes and
plumb lines. When equipped with a right-angle eyepiece or zenith sight, the Transit
can be used to upward plumb lines. Variable power telescopes, glass reticles of
various configurations, optical micrometers and autocollimation eyepieces are available to
custom design your Transit configuration. |
|
|
Wye Telescope Warren-knight's
standard inexpensive alignment telescope that can be used on almost any fixture.
Bracketing and special supports available. Variable power telescopes, numerous
reticles, and level vial sensitivities are options. Custom made alignment scopes "off
the shelf". |
|
|
Dioptometer Primarily
used to check the range and make the "zero" setting of focusing eyepieces for
optical instruments such as binoculars, range-finders, theodolites, spectrometers,
telescopes, etc. Resolution of one diopter. |
|
|
Millidioptometer Used
to measure the spherical power, astigmatism of prisms, plane parallel plates, reflector
assemblies, etc., or to set the diopter scale reading in various optical systems to a
resolution of 1 millidiopter. Range of + and - 200 millidiopters and 20 power
magnification. |
|
|
29-0718 Beamsplitter/Adapter Mounted on an eyepiece to provide illumination of the reticle for
autocollimation. Synchronization errors can be detected in either x or y when used
with optical tooling accessories. In the original design an auxiliary telescope with
self contained reticle limit lines are used for viewing through the eyepiece to provide a
visual "go" or "no-go" pattern for quick determination of compliance
to specification requirements. |
